wave/alternative energy classroom projects

I am searching for any existing wave technology or alternative energy classroom projects for public school, after school, and summercamp settings. Age- 10 and up. I may have a 3 foot x 8 foot tank to test these experimental projects. There is a lot of interest and support here on the Oregon Coast in the school system as well as OSU's Hatfield Marine Science Center. I just haven't found any specific projects yet.
