Ocean Renewable Energy Coalition

Since we need fuel, as well as electricity, H2 could be made at sea.

Wm. Heronemus was the first to suggest windfarms offshore, but his turbines were multi turbines on one foot print, more
efficient he found than single turbines. and he was knowlegable
about handling electrolysis of hydrogen. His company still exists and is seeking financing. A land multi turbine array of
5MW is projected to get 1kwh at 1.3cents. We would be more efficient with land or sea space with this arrangement on the same footprint. H2 can be burned in a combustion chamber to immediately create superheated steam jetting to turn turbines.
The baseload of such a powerplant would be 60% less than current plants to create--no boilers and no pollution equipment and could be local to each town, if desired, as no pollutants are involved. Save seaspace for this development--Hydrogen should be taken from seawater if we intend to use it. Massive
numbers of "barrels" take massive amounts of water. Transportation is not that expensive, especially for the baseload in electric plants on the Cape.

Hi!! Mary Ann Segal,

I am Hiro Chandwani, have recently joined this site. I saw your posting about Hydrogen generation. It is not clear what message you want to convey through this article. Your description is not clear. I would like to help in any manner if possible. If you cold explain to me the contents of the articles and the help you require, I shall be too glad to help.
I take this opportunity to introduce myself as a qualified Marine and Mechanical engineer with over FORTY years experience. I am interested in new inventions in renewable energy and would be too glad to help commercialise the same.

You may contact me on my cell no. +91 9870206665 or
